Nguyen brings valuable to support growth for the Skykit’s CMS

MINNEAPOLIS—Feb. 11, 2019—Skykit, LLC, an Agosto, Inc. company and the first digital signage content management system (CMS) built on Google Cloud and integrated with G Suite and Drive, continues to add new team members to support its accelerating growth. The most recent addition is Michael Nguyen who joins Skykit as a Channel Manager based in Irvine, Calif.

Nguyen has extensive experience within the hardware channel community, and with Google Chrome in particular. He was most recently at global technology company AOPEN®, where he was National Business Development Manager for Google Chrome Enterprise.Michael Nguyen Channel Manager Skykit digital signage

“Michael will be instrumental in cultivating Skykit’s robust partnerships with resellers, VARS, and system integrators,” said Linda Hofflander, VP, Global Channels and Alliances for Skykit. “His combined expertise in Google Chrome, digital signage, and the hardware channel is a valuable formula to support Skykit’s rapid growth.”

During his five year tenure at AOPEN, Nguyen worked strategically with the technology solutions, product management, R&D, and marketing teams to create competitive, commercial-grade Google Chrome offerings for digital signage and edge computing.

His expertise helped foster and close opportunities with Fortune 50 companies across North and South America, doubling commercial Chrome OS device sales year-over-year from 2016 through 2018. Nguyen also led engagements with Google to support the development, sales, and launch of AOPEN Chrome devices.

In addition to his IT channel credentials, Nguyen brings an entrepreneurial spirit to Skykit. In 2012, he and a partner launched Glazed Cafe, a coffee and donut shop where he oversaw the openings of multiple locations from groundbreaking to grand opening.

His accountability for the daily operational activities of every location—including staff supervision, purchasing, inventory, and customer service—provided him with important insights into the QSR industry. Nguyen earned a B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2005.
