Skykit Showcases Advanced Digital Signage SoC Integration at InfoComm 2025

Skykit + Hisense at InfoComm2025

InfoComm has always been the premier event for Pro AV professionals, but InfoComm 2025 in Orlando marked a particularly significant milestone for the Skykit team.

This year provided an exceptional platform for us to showcase our innovative firmware-level digital signage SoC integration with industry leaders, and connect with partners who are reshaping the AV landscape.

One of the highlights of InfoComm 2025 was our featured position within the Hisense booth. As the only digital signage vendor given dedicated space in their impressively large booth, we had a unique opportunity to demonstrate our seamless integration with their hardware.

What made this partnership particularly exciting is our firmware-level integration with Hisense’s System-on-Chip (SoC) displays. This integration represents a significant advancement over traditional side-loading approaches that have historically created challenges for AV professionals.

With our Hisense integration, we’ve created a truly workable solution from a field service standpoint. Unlike previous SoC implementations where we had limited permissions and management capabilities, our firmware-level integration provides the same robust remote management features you’d expect from our dedicated media players.

The SoC Advantage: Simplified Deployment with Full Control

For many of our customers, the benefits of this integration are immediately apparent:

This integration addresses the concerns many of our customers have had with SoC displays in the past.

As our Director of Strategic Partnerships Nick Dolansky pointed out during the show:

“Previously, we had to be cautious about recommending SoC solutions due to deployment and management limitations. What this Hisense integration gives us is device management that works exactly like our dedicated media players.”

The result is a solution that offers the simplified hardware approach of SoC while maintaining the robust remote management capabilities our customers require.

Sony Partnership: Skykit the First to Complete Full Integration

InfoComm 2025 also marked an important milestone in our relationship with Sony. During the event, we confirmed that Skykit is the first partner to fully complete the integration that enables proper remote deployment and service management of Sony professional displays.

This achievement further demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with flexible hardware options while maintaining consistent management capabilities across their entire digital signage network.

Industry Recognition and Strategic Partnerships

Beyond our hardware integrations, InfoComm 2025 provided an opportunity to highlight our strategic partnerships. One of the show’s highlights was our collaboration with NetSpeek, winner of multiple awards for their Gen AI for AV technology.

Sam Kennedy, EVP of GTM Strategy at NetSpeek, discussed how their AI platform Lena is being trained to work with Skykit’s systems:

“We’ve built a cloud-based agentic platform where we have little experts on Skykit inside of Lena that helps solve and support administrators who have to keep all these technologies running.”

This integration allows for advanced automation features like:

✅ Automatic problem detection and resolution

✅ Scheduled content and volume adjustments

✅ Real-time monitoring and adjustment of display settings

✅ All accomplished without requiring administrator intervention

“It’s leveraging AI in a way that administrators don’t have to do any programming,” Kennedy explained. “Administrators simply set up what they want their signs to display and the desired settings, and Lena automatically figures out what needs to change and makes those adjustments.”

Expanding Deployment Options

Another significant advantage of our SoC integrations highlighted during InfoComm was the expanded deployment options they provide. For customers with specific certification requirements like NOM-certification and TAA compliance, these integrated display solutions can significantly simplify deployment in regions where hardware distribution might otherwise be challenging.

Looking Forward

InfoComm 2025 reinforced what we’ve always believed at Skykit: that providing flexible, reliable, and easy-to-manage digital signage solutions requires deep integration at the firmware level. Our partnerships with Hisense and Sony demonstrate our commitment to this approach, and the industry recognition we received during the show validates our strategy.

As we continue to expand our capabilities and partnerships, we remain focused on delivering solutions that simplify deployment while providing the robust management features our customers need to maintain their digital signage networks efficiently.
