This week we introduce you to Nick Dolansky, one of our newest members of the Customer Success team at Skykit. Nick, like our entire Customer Success team, works closely with all of our customers, whether it’s training to improve their processes or connecting customers with the support team to resolve issues. Read more about Nick and why he values customers – as well as a little bit about his passions and interests.
Tell me about your role at Skykit?
I’m on our Customer Success team with a focus on supporting our Enterprise accounts. My role is to ensure any of our customers that put their trust in our product are trained to best use their Skykit solutions and use all the features available to them!
What excites you most about what you are doing at Skykit?
My absolute favorite part is seeing a customer’s vision come to life! I work with many different internal roles at various companies and they all have different uses for their digital signage. Being able to help HR better engage and communicate with employees or help the sales team put scoreboards or dashboards up across the office, it’s fun to see a standard display really come to life with dynamic content!
What makes Skykit’s solutions unique from other companies?
One of the big differences between Skykit and others really comes down to our Dashboard Connections content type. We’ve solved a critical challenge in getting real-time data dashboards onto digital signage. Companies come to us frustrated and out of options when it comes to sharing dashboards with key employee teams. They are always excited to learn that they can use Skykit Beam to securely authenticate into many of the different tools they use (nearly all!) and display their dashboards on large format screens without manual processes. This solution is a game changer for the companies I work with. I’d encourage anyone to look at the list of integrations we have and check out Skykit.
What kinds of projects/activities/hobbies do you like to do while not at work?
My wife and I have two kids, a 2.5-year-old and a 3-month-old, so we love spending time with them! In the rare moments when both babies are sleeping, we both love to play Xbox and have a great gaming setup in our basement for us to play together. I can also talk to anyone all day long about cars or Star Wars, so feel free to reach out if you like any of those topics!
Being a husband and father absolutely makes me the most proud. Outside of that, I did start up a small business from scratch that helps people make sense of the smart home.
Favorite place you’ve been? Why?
For our honeymoon, my wife and I went to Aruba and absolutely loved it! We got married in January, so being able to go where the weather was a perfect 80 degrees that time of year was amazing. Everyone on the island was so friendly and accommodating. One of the coolest things we did was drive UTVs around the entire island with a tour guide, stopping at key points of interest and getting to swim in a natural pool carved out of rocks!
