Irfan Khan- The Skykit Executive Leadership Team and Skykit Board Members

Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member

Irfan Khan

As the co-founder and CEO of Skykit, Irfan sets the strategic direction for the company. He oversaw the launch of the platform in 2016 and has since worked to grow it into a major provider of powerful digital signage and workplace experience tools.

Irfan is also an entrepreneur and the co-founder of Agosto, an IT consulting firm that became one of Google’s top go-to-market partners under his leadership. Agosto retained customers like Starbucks and Goodyear, and was eventually acquired by Pythian in 2020. Irfan holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences from the University of Oregon and is an avid cyclist who has completed the Leadville Trail 100 bike race seven times. He frequently rides and races with fellow Skykit cyclists.

Chief Financial Officer​ and Board Member

Mike Majerus

Mike oversees Skykit’s finance and human resources departments, providing strategic direction to help the company capitalize most effectively on its growth. He creates and implements processes designed to improve the company’s operational and financial efficiencies and fuel further company growth.

Mike is a board member at BIZAA, a non-profit aiding Nigerian children, and at the Twin Cities chapter of Financial Executives International. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University, and a master’s in business administration from St. Cloud State University. He also holds a CPA certificate in Minnesota. Mike is on an accomplished snow sculpting team that took first place at the Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Championship; second place at the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition; and a Bronze medal at the 2015 Budweiser International Snow Sculpting Championships.

Co-Founder And Chief Technology Officer​​

Paul Lundberg

Paul has more than 25 years of experience building technical teams in application software, product development, and systems integration. He is charged with executing the strategic vision of all product development and intellectual property at Skykit.

He previously oversaw Agosto’s cloud product development consultancy, leading the largest Google Cloud Platform (GCP) software development team in North America. With his oversight, the group built software to facilitate a device deployment and provisioning process for a global retailer with 9,000 stores in North America. The project and platform informed and inspired the product that would become Skykit.

Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and business administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He enjoys cycling, mountain climbing and ice hockey.

As a change agent, Lolly is always on the lookout for ways to improve and increase efficiency. She understands that what worked two quarters ago may not be as effective in the next year, and so she prioritizes creating, evaluating, and tweaking to ensure continued success.

Lolly holds a Bachelor of Education with a Business Focus and a Bachelor of Science in Business Education, both from East Central University. With her wealth of experience and dedication to excellence, Lolly has amassed over 2,400 followers on her social media profiles, where she can be seen celebrating her colleagues’ successes and sharing her own expertise.

Stu Armstrong

Stuart is currently the founder and managing director of AAG Consulting Group and sits on the board of several privately held tech companies. He is well known in the retail tech and martech industries, having headed up a successful engagement technology company in the digital signage space, ComQi. ComQi had a successful exit in 2018, being acquired by the global display giant, AUO. His background also includes two successful startups, EVP Integrated Marketing Consulting at the global agency Havas, 2-term elected president of the digital signage association (Digital Screenmedia Association), and early in his career, head of product management at the shopper marketing company, IRI.

Stuart’s expertise extends beyond the retail and martech industries. He has a proven track record in various industry verticals, including food & beverage / QSR, healthcare, transportation, education, smart workplace, and smart city technologies, instilling confidence in his ability to adapt and excel in diverse environments.

BJ Hansen​

BJ Hansen joined McCarthy Capital in 2008. His responsibilities include originating and evaluating new investment opportunities, structuring and executing private investments, and management oversight of portfolio investments.

Prior to joining McCarthy Capital, BJ worked as an investment banker.

BJ earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Position Overview

We seek a strategic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for our digital signage solutions, creating compelling messaging, enabling our sales team, and driving product adoption. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B SaaS product marketing with experience in crafting customer-focused messaging, analyzing market trends, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Product Positioning and Messaging
  • Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions in the marketplace
  • Create and maintain product messaging frameworks that resonate with our target audience and align with our company’s brand voice
  • Collaborate with product management to understand product capabilities and translate technical features into customer benefits
Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Lead GTM planning and execution for new feature launches and product enhancements
  • Identify and define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) through data analysis and customer interviews
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches
Content Development and Management
  • Own the creation of marketing content and sales enablement materials, including case studies, white papers, presentations, and product one-pagers
  • Write compelling copy for website, blog posts, email campaigns, and newsletters that drive engagement
  • Develop and maintain product documentation to support customer education
Sales Enablement
  • Create and deliver sales training materials and programs that equip the sales team to effectively communicate product value
  • Develop battlecards, competitive analysis, and objection handling guides to support the sales process
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities for improving conversion rates
Market Intelligence
  • Monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape
  • Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
  • Provide actionable insights to product and executive teams based on market analysis
Performance Measurement
  • Track and report on product marketing KPIs and campaign performance
  • Deliver full-lifecycle marketing analytics to leadership
  • Measure and optimize adoption rates for product features and integrations

Skills and Qualifications

Required
  • 3+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS environments
  • Proven track record of developing successful go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption
  • Strong experience in creating compelling messaging and positioning for technical products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into benefits
  • Data-driven approach to decision making with experience in analyzing marketing metrics
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Preferred
  • Experience in digital signage or related SaaS industries
  • Demonstrated success in increasing feature adoption rates
  • Background in content marketing with proven results in growing organic traffic and leads
